Installing The Emotes

After downloading, run the program. You will see a screen that looks something like this:

Click Yes if you want to install the emotes.

The emote merge program will unzip and display the following screen:

Most users just press the Merge button.

After you press the Merge the program will add the emotes to your list of emotes. Then a dialog something like this should display:

If you are in messanger you will have to exit and restart to get the new emotes to be available.

What do all the buttons do?

Below is a list of what all the buttons do.

Merge

Merge these emotes into existing emotes without overwriting any existing emotes. This is the default action and what most users want to do.

Update

Merge these emotes into existing emotes overwriting any existing emotes. If you want to install a new version of the emotes (I do update them from time to time). Use this option. Emotes with the same "name" are overwritten.

Replace

Repace current emotes with these new ones. This completely replaces your current emotes with this set. This is a dangerous choice as you will destroy all your exiting emotes.

Delete

Delete the emotes from the current emote file. If you have previously installed any of my emotes, this lets you remove my emotes and only my emotes from your existing file. If the name of the emotes matchs the name my my list it will be removed from your file. This is handy to try out my emotes, and if you don't like them, you can remove them.

Exit

Exit the program.
